There are plenty of reasons to hire a dog waste removal company. Besides the whole stinky icky yucky disgusting smell and visual presentation of dog feces, one reason is the inefficiency of available tools to scoop dog poop. Really, until they invented a robot, there have only been two kinds of tools for picking up dog poop: the grabber with a spring loaded handle or the rake and pan.
Here in Tomball, we don't get frozen months but there is quite a bit of humidity. So, the hand clasping spring loaded scooper doesn't really get to the moist piles. Plus, the handles are too short if you're trying to walk around the yard carrying a bucket or trash can to constantly
empty the grabber. Bending over can be a real pain since most of the handles are only about 15 inches. Then, once you've got the pile in your grip, it may slip open & fall or it really sticks to the sides when you need it to drop out. Plus, it scoops up a lot more ground around it than just the doggy doodle.
You can also use the rake and pan method but it is a struggle to do if you're not familiar operating two tools at once. Not everyone is as young as they once were and it can really pull on your wrists while you walk around. There aren't really pans big enough if you have a big dog so you'll be toting around some stinky stuff back and forth to a dispenser.
